It was the best of times...

70 GBP

A CMYK 4 colour screenprint for a joint exhibition with Middlesex University at The Poetry Cafe, Covent Garden.

Based on the opening line from Charles Dickens "A Tale of Two Cities" -

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair..."

The image is based on a photo from Saul Leiter, one of the greatest and earliest colour photographers from America. So this project was a bringing together of two great artists.

Limited edition of 10 complete with 50 x 50cm mount. The opening measures 30 x 30cm.

Frame not included in the price, but please ask if interested.
